POSTA accessibility statement

Last reviewed: August 6, 2026

Our commitment

POSTA is committed to making postatool.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-off project, and we are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

We sell into Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada, and we recognise the accessibility expectations that apply in each of those markets. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard we are working to across all of them.

Conformance status

WCAG 2.1 defines requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, at three levels: A, AA and AAA.

postatool.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. We describe the areas we know about below.

What we have done

As part of an accessibility review completed in 2026, we have made the following improvements to postatool.com:

  • Added a "Skip to main content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation on every page
  • Restored visible keyboard focus indicators across the site, so keyboard users can always see where they are
  • Removed hidden off-screen navigation from the keyboard tab order, so keyboard users are no longer moved through controls they cannot see
  • Corrected the heading structure on key page sections so screen reader users can navigate by heading
  • Added accessible names and labels to interactive components, including tabbed content and video players
  • Ensured tabbed content correctly communicates which tab is selected to assistive technology
  • Added descriptive alternative text to product and site imagery
  • Ensured all automatically playing video is muted, carries visible playback controls, and can be paused by keyboard
  • Added support for the operating system "reduce motion" setting, so automatically playing video does not start for people who have requested reduced motion
  • Declared the page language so screen readers pronounce content correctly

Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them. If any of these prevent you from using this website, please contact us using the details below and we will help you directly.

  • Video captions. Some videos on this site include spoken narration and do not yet have closed captions. Most of our video content is silent product footage with no spoken information. If you need a transcript for any specific video, contact us and we will provide one.
  • Colour contrast. Some text and interface elements using our brand orange do not yet meet the minimum contrast ratio required at Level AA. We are revising these colour values.
  • Keyboard operation of some components. Some interactive components, including certain dialogs, dropdown menus and the region selector, may not yet be fully operable using a keyboard alone. We are reviewing and correcting these.
  • Form labels. Some form fields may rely on placeholder text rather than a persistent visible label. We are reviewing all forms on the site.
  • Images containing text. Some promotional graphics present information as text within an image. Alternative text is provided for these, but the text within them cannot be resized or reflowed independently. We are progressively replacing these with real text.

Third-party content and services

Parts of this website rely on services provided by third parties, including our ecommerce platform, checkout and payment processing, and customer support chat. We do not control the code of these services and cannot guarantee their accessibility. Where we identify barriers in third-party components, we raise them with the provider and look for alternatives where a barrier cannot be resolved.

Alternative ways to reach us and to order

If any part of this website prevents you from finding information or completing a purchase, we will assist you directly. Contact us and we will:

  • Provide any product information, specification or pricing detail in a format that works for you
  • Provide a written transcript of any video on the site
  • Take your order directly and arrange payment and delivery without you needing to use the website checkout

Feedback and contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of postatool.com. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us. Reports from people using the site are one of the most useful ways we find and fix problems.

When contacting us, it helps if you can include the web address of the page, a description of the problem, and the browser and any assistive technology you were using — but please get in touch even if you cannot provide these details.

Email: hello@postatool.com

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and to respond substantively within 10 business days. If your report concerns a barrier that is preventing you from completing a purchase, we will contact you promptly to assist you directly.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may ask for your report to be escalated for review by our management team by replying to our response and requesting escalation.

How we assessed this website

POSTA assessed the accessibility of postatool.com by self-evaluation. Our assessment included:

  • Automated testing using WAVE, Google Lighthouse and Axe
  • Manual keyboard-only navigation testing across key pages, including the home page, product pages and checkout entry
  • Manual review of page structure, headings, alternative text and form labelling
  • Review of colour contrast values against WCAG 2.1 Level AA thresholds

This assessment was carried out by our own team and has not been independently audited or certified by a third party.

Ongoing work

Accessibility work on postatool.com is ongoing. New images are published with alternative text, new pages are checked before publishing, and this statement is reviewed and updated as issues are resolved or newly identified.

This statement was prepared in 2026 and reflects the state of postatool.com as at the review date shown at the top of this page.
